Q: What's the difference between handmade soap and store bought soap?
A: Plenty! We make our soaps from only natural ingredients. Commercially made soaps are mostly synthetic. They are produced from detergents, fillers, petrochemicals, synthetic dyes and fragrances. Earth Dance soaps are made from real plant essences, pure vegetable oils and natural colorants. We guarantee you are receiving quality, fresh handmade soap.

Q: Why are handmade soaps costly?
A: Natural ingredients are inherently more expensive than synthetic ones. The cost of natural ingredients is dependent on many factors, like plant availability and demand. There are cheaper ingredients out there, but the quality is not up to our standards. We believe that what you put on your body is every bit as important as what you put in your body.

Q: Which of your soaps is the most moisturizing?
A: The simplest answer is all of them. We have formulated our soap base to contribute wonderful skin care benefits. Feel free to email us with any questions about the product line.

Q: How long do your soaps last in the shower?
A: The soaps are fully cured for 3-4 weeks before we sell them. A longer the cure time means less moisture in the soap. The end result is a harder bar of soap that will last longer. With proper care, Earth Dance soaps will last through 3 weeks of use.

Q: How long will the scent last?
A: We use extra essential oils in every batch to ensure that the scent lasts as long as possible. Our scent shelf life is up to one year and longer. Many of our clients use our soaps to scent linens and guest rooms!
